"Lapse"
This piece was performed as part of the VIA Dance show at the University of Texas at Arlington in May of 2019. Choreographed by Valerie Arruda, she wanted to show an apocalyptic world where the people were ignoring the problem. One dancer attempted to wake the others up to the world falling apart around them. Calm
The piece started off in blue, before the catalyst of the apocalypse began.
Panic
As the dance progressed, and the principle dancer grew more distressed, the lighting became more red and oppressive in nature.
The show ended as it began, in blue.
